KLH Consulting was founded by Kenton L. Hupp, a Licensed Petroleum Engineer with over five decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. Kenton earned his B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1974. He began his career with Amoco Production Company and later worked at TXO Production Corporation before establishing KLH Consulting and IGWT Inc. in 1986.

Kenton is licensed to practice engineering in Kansas and Missouri and is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Kansas Independent Oil and Gas Association (KIOGA), and the Eastern Kansas Oil and Gas Association (EKOGA).
